Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of betty-ca.win (the "Site"). The contractual relationship for any client engagement is governed by a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA) signed by both parties. In the event of a conflict, the MSA prevails.

1. About us

Betty Studio Inc., a Canadian corporation registered in Ontario (registration number 002384712). Registered office: 49 Spadina Avenue, Studio 802, Toronto, ON M5V 2J1.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to attempt to access non-public areas, scrape content at scale, or introduce viruses or malicious code.

3. Project enquiries

Submitting a project enquiry through this Site does not create a contract or obligation on either side. We will respond to every legitimate enquiry within one business day, and a written proposal (if appropriate) within ten business days. Either party may decline to proceed at any point before signing the MSA.

4. Engagements

All client engagements are governed by an MSA and a Statement of Work (SOW), which together cover scope, schedule, fees, intellectual property, confidentiality, and termination. Standard SOW terms include:

  • 50% deposit on signature; 50% on launch.
  • Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed schedule.
  • Two rounds of revision included at each project stage.
  • Final intellectual property transfers to the client on receipt of the final invoice.
  • 30-day post-launch support included.

5. Intellectual property on this Site

All content on this Site — copy, photographs, design — is owned by Betty Studio or used under licence. Case-study work is shown with the client's permission. You may share and link to our pages freely; you may not republish substantial sections without written permission.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, Betty Studio's aggregate liability arising out of your use of this Site is limited to $100. Our liability under any client engagement is limited to the fees paid under the relevant SOW. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
